The Stadium may be open and outwardly finished but much work as still to be completed around the ground. This latest batch of pictures from around the ground shows the progress made since November 17th.
East Stand
For the first time the East Stand was open to the public, in time for the Tranmere Rovers match, and enabled the Club to have a +6000 crowd inside the new stadium. Pity the result didn't match as the Cherries went down 0-2.
Enough of the waffle, here are the pictures of the newly opened East Stand.
Open for business at last - the first entrants to the newly opened East Stand take theie places before the Tranmere game.
The stand may be open, but it is far from complete. There was a burger van doing brisk business outside the stand testifying that the catering facilities were far from complete inside the stand. The three pictures below also show that the entrance to what will be the new Community facilities are not open as yet. A date for these facilities being available is not yet known.
