Speaking after the match, Shakers boss Alan Knill, was quoted as saying: "For 90 minutes I wasn't too excited, but the end result is a win and three points at home, that's 10 points this month and six games unbeaten, so we're doing okay. The most important thing was to get the win. It didn't look like it was coming and then we had a bit of quality and got the goal. It was a great goal and then we ground out the win. I didn't really think they caused us too many problems, but it was a really difficult fixture for us. I'm relieved we've won".
