Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Bond is quoted as saying: "He's certainly not open to offer. He is very much our player and has another year on his contract. I want him to stay. As I've stated many times, if a player is unhappy and doesn't want to stay at the club then I'll look at that situation, but Jo has a value so he understands that. While the club will take all things into consideration, no-one will be just walking away from Bournemouth simply because they want to get away. I wouldn't want anyone playing for us if they didn't have their heart set on it but no-one will be holding the club to ransom. I've had two conversations with Jo since the end of the season and he hasn't said to me personally that he wants to leave. Until he comes and sits in front of me and tells me he wants to leave then that's the view I will be taking".
