They players are:
- Conal Platt from Liverpool (a forward player)
- Tareq Khalil from Cardiff City (midfielder)
Manager, Sean O'Driscoll, was quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying: "He (Conal Platt) came into training, looked bright, scored two goals and thought he was somebody we could work with and develop. He had other options, but was advised that the way we play would suit his game and negotiations went from there. Tareq is a talented youngster and will strengthen the squad. He's a very skillful player and we feel we can develop both players into becoming integral parts of the squad. Our thanks go to the Playershare scheme which has enabled us to use money received from the James O'Connor transfer to strengthen the squad".
