Manager Eddie Howe was not best pleased with the sending off, being quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We can’t afford to lose anyone for three games and it’s a massive blow. I said to everyone in there (the dressing room) that we cannot afford for anyone to be sent off for dissent or something that’s not tackle-related. It’s going to be difficult to replace him because he’s the only left-back we’ve got and he’s done very well this season".
