Summer Signings?

In an interview in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, O'Driscoll is quoted as saying: "If I spent it all on one player, it would blow the wage structure apart. A player who costs a £100,000 transfer fee commands pretty high wages, so it is impossible. So why blow £100,000 on one player when you can bring in four or five? The youngsters are all we can afford. The more experienced players are sought after and command the higher wages. So we're looking at players a bit like James O'Connor who never played first-team football for his club but we know have real potential".

Of those who are out of contract, Sean went on to say: "Things are ongoing. Hopefully by the end of this week we will have one or two more tied up. We are chatting to everybody but nothing is concrete as yet. Everybody has been as accommodating as they can possibly be and I understand the situation".
