With teams around them failing to win, Darlington missed the opportunity at The Arena to jump in to the automatic promotion places as they were held by Barnet. Hatch gave the home side an 8th minute lead, with O'Flynn levelling 11 minutes later. Hatch netted again in the 25th minute only to see Yakubu level for a share of the points in the 76th minute. Dagenham & Redbridge seem to score goals for fun away from home with 4 more against Macclesfield at Moss Rose. Benson and Taiwo netted in the 4th and 7th minutes to give the Daggers a flying start. Aldershot Town had to come from behind at The Recreation Ground to deny Grimsby Town their 2nd win of the season. Kalala and Hegarty gave the visitors the lead with goals in the 2nd and 39th minutes. Lincoln City calimed their 4th away win of the season with a single goal win over Notts County at Meadow Lane. Patulea scored the only goal of the game in the 32nd minute. Notts County 17th, Lincoln City 12th.
Chesterfield inflicted Port Vale's 7th home defeat of the season as Downes netted the only goal of the game in the 54th minute at Vale Park. Port Vale 15th, Chesterfield 13th.
Luton Town and Morecambe had to be content with a point at Kenilworth Road as the Hatters edge closer to a break even position where points are concerned. Spillane gave the home side a 51st minute lead while Carlton levelled just 6 minutes later. Luton Town 24th, Morcambe 16th.
Rotherham United got back to winning ways with their 4th win on the road on their visit to Livingstone Road against Accrington Stanley. A brace from Burchill in the 6th (a penalty) and 11th minutes gave the Millers a great start. Procter pulled one back in the 33rd minute only to see Broughton make sure of the win in the 88th minute.
