It didn't get much better just 8 minutes later when Swailes was given sufficient time by Gowling to get a shot away which was cruelly deflected by Cooper past Moss for their second goal with just 14 minutes on the clock.
The middle part of the half did see the Cherries come more in to the game with the last third of the half practically dominated by Bournemouth. Sadly to no real effect as the only shot on target was a mis hit effort from Kuffour.
The half was soured even further in added on time when a boot from mark Wright caught him in the face. Wright was rightly shown a yellow card in front of the North Stand who were looking for red. Moss was stretchered off and received 8 stitches in total in upper and lower lips.
HT: 0-2
The second half started with Bournemouth much the brighter of the two sides and had long spells of possession. But as we have seen all too often at home this season, there was very little in the way of a cutting edge. Gueret, in the Franchise FC goal, had no meaningful save to make throughout the game.
Franchise did come more in to the game towards the end of the half, but their more experienced side couldn't create any cler cut chances themselves and certianly not going to make things easy for the Bournemouth youngsters as they tried, in vain, to get back in to the match.
Karacan looked lively, as did Hollands. But overall it was an all too familiar performance from the Cherries.
