Poole Town striker, Charlie Austin, who has scored a remarkable 24 goals in 20 matches for the Wessex League side, has been invited to train with the Cherries.
Manager Eddie Howe is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "He has come to my attention because of the number of goals he has scored for Poole Town this season. We have a strong link with Poole through Steve Cuss who I worked very closely with during my time at the Centre of Excellence. Steve has recommended we have a look at him and I have invited him in to train with us. It's not easy to score goals at any level and the fact he's scored so many shows he could be a good prospect. Those are the qualities you look for in a striker and Steve also speaks highly of his attitude so he is definitely worth taking a look at".
