Exiles AGM 2004

Last updated : 18 June 2004 By Andy Burton
As with every year, the Exiles AGM is being held during the Close Season, giving us time to reflect on the past 12 months for the Football Club and the Exiles Club, as well as giving us the chance to look forward to the next 12 months.

If you want to attend the AGM, the venue is the same as it has been for the past few years - at the Royal Oak, Tabard Street, London, SE1. The Royal Oak is close to Borough tube station, as well as 10 mins walk away from London Bridge station. Click on the link to view a map of the area.

Once again, the Royal Oak is opening especially on a Saturday for us, so please try and get along to the AGM as it is your chance to have a say in how the Exiles Club is run, and who holds which position.

Do you really want this man as Chairman?

Do you really want this man as Travel Officer? Pete Ladyman (standing behind Phil) isn't so sure!!

This is your chance to stand for a post, or confirm existing posts.
Currently we have the following posts:
Chairman (currently Andy Burton)
Secretary (Phil Nesbitt)
Treasurer (vacant)
Membership (Pam Smith)
Travel (Phil Nesbitt)
APSCIL Rep (Richie Barker)
Merchandise (Andy Burton)
Competitions (Phil Henstridge)
Editors of EXILED (Richie Barker/Andy Burton)

There are other jobs which are also available, including Match Day Ticket Co-Ordinator and Web Site Administrator.

If you want to participate and join the debate, the AGM gets under way at 1400, but the pre-AGM warm up normally starts anytime from 1200 onwards - giving us a chance to soak up the atmosphere. Just for a change, Andy Burton will not be standing out side for 4 hours waiting for everyone to arrive and present their ticket(s) to them!!

If you plan on going, please email to confirm numbers so we can advise the pub on how much food they need to prepare for the buffet. There will be a small cost involved - not normally more than about £5.

I look forward to seeing you on June 26th.

Andy Burton Exiles Club Chairman
