Going To Sheffield Wednesday? READ THIS FIRST!! (updated)

The forthcoming match at Hillsborough is NOT all ticket for away supporters.

However, it is strongly suggested that we buy tickets IN ADVANCE of this match from our own ticket office for two simple reasons.

Firstly it will be cheaper to buy them in advance from the Ticket Office at Dean Court, even if booking by phone at the last minute. Secondly - the Club makes 5% commission on selling tickets. Under normal circumstances AFC Bournemouth wouldn't normally make a penny from an away match.

With an initial allocation of 750 being made to AFC Bournemouth, tickets cost £17 (in advance for adults [£18 on the day]), with over 60's/under 16's** costing £10 (in advance [£11 on the day]). There is no concession for students, which is a surprise given that Sheffield has a large student population.
** Juniors may be asked for proof of age.

So if you're going to Hillsborough, buy from the AFCB Ticket Office this Saturday and help AFCB make a bit of extra money.
