The Savoy, 38 Regent St. SN1 1JL. About 10 minutes from the County Ground and 5 minutes from the rail station. Large Wetherspoons pub in converted cinema. Usual wide range of beers and standard Wetherspoons food menu.

Barnsley Sat 17/01/2004
Court House Station, 24 Regent Street, S70 2HG. Another Wetherspoons pub, coincidentally with a similar address to the Swindon one. The usual fare can be expected, with regional guest ales. Very close to the rail station, which is only 5 minutes from Oakwell.

Plymouth Argyle Sat 07/02/2004
Britannia Inn, 1 Wolseley Road, PL2 3AE. Newish football-friendly Wetherspoons near the Mayflower sports centre and just 10 minutes from Home Park. Stocks four guest ales with the usual Wetherspoons food menu available.

Brighton & HA Sat 21/02/2004 MATCH LIKELY TO BE ALL TICKET
Evening Star, 55 Surrey Street, BN1 3PB. Five minutes from Brighton station. Home of the Dark Star brewery, stocks a good range of house and guest beers together with bottled Belgian beers. If requiring food you may need to adjourn to the Battle of Trafalgar, 35 Guildford Road, BN1 3LW, even closer to the station.

Bricklayers Arms, 16 Hightown Road, LU2 0DD. 5 minutes to the north of Luton station. Unpretentious town pub stocking guest ales and Belgian bottled beers. Food may be restricted to sandwiches.

Grimsby Town Sat 13/03/2004
Willy’s Pub & Brewery, 17 High Cliff Road, Cleethorpes, DN35 8RQ. Five minutes from Cleethorpes station towards the sea front (which should be bracing in March!). Home of the only brewery in the area, selling its own and guest ales. The home-made food is reportedly excellent.

New Barrack Tavern, 601 Penistone Road, S6 2GA. CAMRA award-winning pub about ¾ mile from Hillsborough on the way from the city centre. Wide range of guest ales and continental draught and bottled beers. Food available in the evening.

Rushden & Diamonds Sat 27/03/2004
The Oliver Twist, 96 High Street, Irthlingborough, NN9 5PX. In the centre of Irthlingborough village about ¾ mile (uphill) from Nene Park. Friendly village pub with a couple of guest ales and good food.

Hartlepool United Sat 10/04/2004
Jackson’s Wharf, The Highlights, Hartlepool Marina, TS24 0XN. Nautically themed pub next to the historic quay which has been recently revitalised. Cameron’s beers and reasonably-priced good value food.

Peterborough United Sat 24/04/2004
Brewery Tap, 80 Westgate, PE1 2AA. A short walk from Peterborough station and about 15 minutes from London Road. Home to the award-winning Oakham Brewery with the full range of their beers and excellent Thai food available.

Brentford Sat 08/05/2004
Brewery Tap, 47 Catherine Wheel Road, TW8 8BD. Fullers beers and good food. Riverside pub about 10 minutes walk from the ground and from Brentford BR. Some Exiles will also visit the nearby Magpie & Crown, 128 High St, Brentford TW8 8EW. (Free House, no food) and possibly the Brentford Tandoori at some point after the game.
