Hole in the Wall, 115 Spring Bank, Hull, HU3 1BH. Real Ale pub with Roosters and guest ales. Roughly on the route from Hull station to the KC stadium (about 15 mins walk away). No food.

King William IV, 816 High Road, Leyton, E10 6AE. Opposite Tesco. The pub has its own brewery (Sweet William) situated behind the pub and sells its own plus guest ales. Good Thai food menu.

MK Dons Sat 21/08/2004
Wetherspoons, 201 Midsummer Boulevard. MK9 1EA. From the station take the main road directly in front of you, the pub is on the left after about ¼ mile. Largish Wetherspoons with the usual selection of real ales and cheap food. About ½ mile from the National Hockey Stadium.

Bricklayers Arms, 16 Hightown Road, LU2 0DD. 5 minutes to the north of Luton station. Friendly town pub stocking guest ales and Belgian bottled beers. Food may be restricted to sandwiches.

Brentford Sat 04/09/2004
Brewery Tap, 47 Catherine Wheel Road, TW8 8BD. Fullers beers and good food. Riverside pub about 10 minutes walk from the ground and from Brentford BR. Some Exiles will also visit the nearby Magpie & Crown, 128 High St, Brentford TW8 8EW. (Free House, no food) and possibly the Brentford Tandoori at some point after the game.

Wheatsheaf, 194 Talbot Road FY1 3AZ. Theakstons and guset ales, good value food.100 yards from Blackpool North rail station and the main bus station but a tram ride away from Bloomfield Road.

Crown & Sceptre, 2, Petitor Road, TQ1 4QA. Petitor Road lies north of Plainmoor off St. Marychurch Road. 200-year-old stone coaching inn with real ale. Good value food served.

Oldham Athletic Sat 23/10/2004
Up Steps Inn 17-23 High Street OL1 3AJ. Newish Wetherspoons pub in the town centre. Usual range of cheap beers and reasonable food. A short walk from Oldham Mumps station but a bit of a hike or a taxi ride to Boundary Park.

Peterborough United Sat 06/11/2004
Brewery Tap, 80 Westgate, PE1 2AA. A short walk from Peterborough station and about 15 minutes from London Road. Home to the award-winning Oakham Brewery with the full range of their beers and excellent Thai food available.

Jackson’s Wharf, The Highlights, Hartlepool Marina, TS24 0XN. Family-friendly nautically-themed pub next to the historic quay. Cameron’s beers and reasonably-priced good value food (including 2 for the price of one offers).

Crown Ale House, 128 Conway Street. By Europa Centre and main bus terminus, not far from Conway Park rail station. Free House not far from Birkenhead Central station. Wide variety of food served. About 1½ miles from Prenton Park.

The Dragoon, 82 Butt Road, CO3 3DA. Reputedly haunted real ale pub on the road out of town towards Layer Road near the police station. The ground is about a 10 minute walk away. Adnams and guest beers sold and food available (apparently does a ‘Texas style’ chilli on match days).
