No rail engineering work between Portsmouth/Southampton - Cardiff Central over the bank holiday weekend.

Not exclusive to Exiles members, Gordon Buchan is trying to organise a 35-seat coach from North Hampshire, West Surrey, Berkshire to Cardiff.

Minimum cost should be around £12.50, depending on the numbers travelling.

Please email if your interested, or contact Gordon direct on his mobile (evenings only) on 07740 772036.

Gordon is trying to arrange it so that the coach will arrive in Cardiff for about 12-midday, and leave at around 1800.

Please make contact before the close of business on Friday (16th) to confirm.

Meanwhile, if you live in West Sussex, South East Hampshire (pick up at Rownhams), or along the A36 route to Cardiff, a mini bus is being organised by Phill Mullett. If you're interested in this means of getting Cardiff, please email for more details. The mini bus will be getting to Cardiff a bit earlier than Gordon's coach. ONE SEAT LEFT

Having gone to the FA Cup final last year we parked at Newport and got the train to Cardiff (~6-8 trains/hour). It worked really well and we avoided all the hassle of getting in and out of Cardiff. There is a NCP car park opposite Newport station.

Best of luck with the ticket distribution and see you at the Millennium for the big one.

Cheers,
Steve Lewis
