A Brighter 2008?

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, assistant boss, Newman, is quoted as saying: "The performance against Gillingham was as near perfect as we want and everything came to fruition. It was a monkey off our back because of our results at home, but we haven't dwelt on it this week. We've got four games over the festive period where we can get ourselves right back in the fold and if we show the same endeavour, character and commitment, hopefully we can pick up points. If we do that then hopefully we'll be sitting in mid-table come the middle of January. I don't think that's wishful thinking because it's something we know we can do. But we've got to apply ourselves correctly like we did against Gillingham and if we can do that over the next four games then I can see no reason why we can't pick up points".
