Speaking after the match on the Clubs Official Web Site, defender Jason Pearce is quoted as saying: "It was a massive relief to hear that final whistle. It was a hard fought game and when they missed their penalty, it lifted everyone, the crowd and the players and we went on and scored a great goal. We showed that we have a lot of resolve, have a lot of belief and are playing well as a team. Also we are getting a bit of luck as well, which you need to go on a good run. Earlier in the season when we played teams lower in the table, we weren't getting the right results when we should have been. It seems to be changing now and we are nicking 1-0's which is a massive key to us staying up. I've always said we have what it takes to stay up and kept that belief. I believe we are good enough. The run that we are on at the moment is showing that, but there are still a lot of games to go and we can throw away the good work. There is so much belief though at the club, and so much competition for places with so many good players in the changing room, I have that belief that we will stay up".
