Accrington Stanley Reaction - Stanley

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, the Stanley manager, John Coleman is quoted as saying: "Bournemouth are a good side and 3-0 was probably a bit harsh on them. I didn't think they played badly. We scored a couple of goals that you couldn't legislate for and couldn't defend. The second one looked like it took a deflection and you won't see a better strike all season than you did for the third. Bournemouth had quite a few shots although maybe they didn't test our goalkeeper as much as they would have liked. It might have been a different story if a few of their chances had gone in. We were a bit disappointed because we hit a flat spot in the second half and invited them on to us. I didn't think it was a three-niller but our finishing was outstanding".
