With Miles Addison keen for a move away from Derby County, and Nigel Clough indicating that the defender can move, the loanee is looking for assurances from AFC Bournemouth before deciding on any potential move away from Pride Park.

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Addison is quoted as saying about a potential move: "I think that playing all these games and coming in at Bournemouth was the best thing I could have done for my career at this stage. I have got to thank Lee for bringing me here. I thought he was a great man as well as a manager. But Paul took over and it is a big job. I don’t think people realise how big a job it is going to be. He has come in and done quite well. Performance levels have been quite high and I think he deserves a fair crack of the whip. He has been here and knows what is required to take the club to the next level. If a new manager is going to come in, I think he would need to be appointed as soon as possible so he can come in and assess the squad. It doesn’t look like that is going to happen so I think Paul is the best man to take the club forward currently".
