Addison Still A Target

With the players reporting for pre-season on Monday, Paul Groves has stated publically that he's still looking to secure the services of Miles Addison having apparently fended off several Championship Clubs. Derby County manager, Nigel Clough, has been quoted as saying: "We’re talking with one particular club and that one is getting closer", which presumably is AFC Bournemouth.

Meanwhile, Groves is quoted as saying in the Bournemouth Evening Echo: "It is so difficult at this stage of the season to put any kind of timeframe on it. Sometimes, you are able to do things quite quickly, it moves quite quickly and you get things sorted out. Then, sometimes, things go on and on and it gets a little bit frustrating. But I think that is where you have got to make sure that you stay focused on what you are trying to do. If it takes a little bit longer then that is what it takes. I think as long as you get the right people, that is the objective of the exercise".
