AFC Bournemouth wishes to clarify the unexpected events surrounding the recent closure of the club shop.
On Friday of last week certain items were removed from the shop at the request of Her Majesty`s Revenue and Customs.
This was carried out due to a PAYE liability which was passed on by the previous administration and unfortunately resulted in a third party administration error with regard an agreed payment re-structure.
The club`s new owners have acted swiftly to resolve this matter and are currently working to finalise the issue.
The new owners can confirm that their current commitments with HMRC are completely up to date.
We would like to apologise to the supporters for any inconvenience caused. We can confirm the club shop will be open as of today.
