Aldershot Reaction - Cherries II

Shwan Jalal almost lost the Cherries 2-points when he fumbled a cross towards the end of the game, but managed to recover himself when it seemed easier for the opposition to put the ball in the back of the net.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Jalal is quoted as saying: "It was a heart-in-mouth situation. The ball moved away at the last second as I tried to grasp it and it caught the end of my fingers. I dived as quickly as I could and, luckily enough, it stuck in my hand so I was really grateful. You've just got to take the rough with the smooth. We're playing and defending well and long may it continue. Nobody is getting carried away. We've set the standard in our first three games and this is our benchmark. We can't drop from this. Aldershot are a very good passing side and we knew they would come out and make it hard for us to break through them. To their credit, they did that. They came back at us for the last 20 minutes but we kept going. It was a fantastic team performance".
