With Wade Elliott picking up the PFA Award for October, it is the turn of Jamie Hayter to pick up the Football League Award for League One for the same period.

The FL Web Site is quoted as saying: "Bournemouth hot-shot Hayter bagged six goals during October - four in Coca-Cola League 1 and two in the Carling Cup. A product of the south coast club's youth system, Hayter made a name for himself last season by grabbing the fastest hat-trick in Football League history".
