Swindon Town are the latest club to face an uncertain future. They have been served with a winding up order over an unpaid VAT bill. Speaking to BBC Sport, one of their directors is quoted as saying: "We are in the process of raising additional funds. Our major shareholders are using property to raise funds and it has taken slightly longer than expected. There is no real need for alarm as we expect to have the money by the end of the week".

Hull City are licking their wounds after the 1-0 local dercy defeat at the hands of Doncaster Rovers. After the game, Peter Taylor is quoted as saying: "We started well and finished well, but in between Doncaster were better than us. We didn't play enough football - we played too long - and the players did not take responsibility on the ball and that meant we defended too much".
