Even though Cherries midfielder, Harry Arter, was ruled out of recent international duty due to hip and groin issues, the influential midfielder has been told to rest up for 2-3 weeks while the injury settles.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Arter is quoted as saying: "It is nothing too serious but I don’t want to risk any long-term damage. It is disappointing because I have really enjoyed being away with the Republic of Ireland".

On his appearance against England: "It was an honour to come off the bench against England on Sunday and a very proud moment for me. I’m sure Mattie felt the same after scoring his first international goal for Scotland. As much as I hope he does well if he is selected, my first and only thought is with Ireland winning the game. You don’t want to see anybody on the opposite side having a positive effect on the game. The result is the be-all and end-all."
