At Least We're Not Crewe!

Ben Rix has compared the situation at Dean Court with the one at his home club back at Gresty Road who are firmly adrift at the bottom of the Championship!

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Rix is quoted as saying: "In fact, Bournemouth are in a great situation compared to them ............ I've been in a few relegation fights. I've stayed up twice, been relegated once and also been promoted once with Crewe, so I know how it feels to get out of it and also how it feels to go down. You just need to keep a cool head and not let the pressure get to you - although that is easier said than done. I think everybody feels the pressure - the players, the manager and the fans. But you cannot get caught up in the moment and lose your head because that could end up costing you. I've enjoyed the experience at Bournemouth so far and I think we've just been a bit unlucky in certain games. There have been times where we haven't performed well but there was the game against Blackpool where James Hayter's penalty hit the bar. An inch or two lower and nobody would have been talking about the run we're on".
