Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Eddie Howe is quoted as saying: "We've got our fingers crossed for Marvin but it doesn't look too promising at the moment. He's really struggling and can't even jog. We'll have to wait and see what the consultant says but he definitely won't feature for a couple of weeks. It's a blow because our squad isn't the biggest anyway and we need as many fit bodies as possible at this time of the season. Marvin has been performing consistently well for us and, hopefully, we haven't seen the last of him this season".
