Big Fletch On Easter Double Header

With the busy, season defining double header of matches against relegation rivals Barnet and table topping Brentford, it seems unlikely that Steve Fletcher will be playing in both games.

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Fletcher is quoted as saying: "I'll speak to Eddie about what we're going to do. Whether I start both games will probably depend on whether I start at Barnet and how I feel on Monday. Eddie may want to play me in one game and not the other. It's a difficult period and, over the past few years, I haven't played in both. But I'm sure I'll be involved, no matter what. My knees will determine for how long I play. Some days I feel as fit as a fiddle and others I ache a bit for no apparent reason. I've played more games than I anticipated since I came back. I've started all 16 so that's been a positive. I just take each year as it comes and I've done that since 2002 when I had my horrific knee injury and was out for 14 months. I've had yearly contracts and that's all I can do. I can't look too far ahead. Paul Furlong is outstanding to still be playing at 40 and banging in the goals. He's a quality player and I know he has been doing very well for Barnet. He's played in the Premiership and at international level. He's a big, strong lad with a wealth of experience. It will be nice to do battle with him, if selected".
