Big Fletch Would Love TO Return

Speaking on BBCi, the Crawley Town striker is quoted as saying: "The Crawley manager and fans are great and I've been playing a lot recently. But since the manager made it public that he's had an offer from Bournemouth it's been on my mind a lot. I'm under contract to Crawley until the end of the season. Obviously at the moment I've got to leave it to Eddie and Steve (Evans, Crawley manager), to see if they can sort out a deal to take me back to Bournemouth".

Eddie Howe on a possible move for Fletcher is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "Fletch is the type of player who would complement what we have already got here. I am hoping to have further discussions on that one. I know he wouldn't play every minute of every game, but he could certainly have an impact from the bench and would be something different to what we've got".

The move for Weymouth's Stuart Beavon is now reckoned to be unlikely to happen.
