Blackpool Reaction

Manager Sean O'Driscoll was quoted on BBCi after the match as saying: "Things didn't go our way, but everybody put in a shift and we kept plugging away. In some senses, the penalty (which James Hayter missed) was harsh, as the ball was hit straight at him - if they hadn't given it I wouldn't have minded. So we could have won 2-1, but we could have lost 3-1. Hopefully next week we might have one or two players back".

Meanwhile, the Blackpool boss, Simon Grayson, was far more pleased with the point, being quoted on BBCi after the match as saying: "I thought we were probably the better team over the 90 minutes, Although they scored with their first attack, we took the game to them. At the end, I was telling the lads to get the ball in the box for the winner, but (coach) Tony Parkes was holding me back saying 'we'll take the point'. But I'm chuffed to bits with the attitude, as it's the best we've played for a long, long time".
