Bond Backs Squad

Speaking on the Clubs Official Web Site, Bond is quoted as saying: "They're hurting a great deal. They know how well they can play so when that inconsistency is there the players are as frustrated as anyone. But they've got to keep their heads up and keep working hard. I understand how the supporters feel. However frustrated they are it doesn't come near to how I feel. I understand a million times over how they must be feeling. We had a run of four games where we thought we'd done ok. All of a sudden we get a kick in the last week and we need to get that consistency back. We'd done really well against Nottingham Forest and we shot ourselves in the foot in the first ten minutes against Port Vale. As ordinary as we were against Bristol Rovers and I'd be the first to admit that, it does hurt you. We conceded a penalty that was never a penalty in the first game and had a perfectly good goal ruled out in the second. I've had a good look at the replay and the assessor also said the goal should have stood. We are being punished at this moment in time, but we're big enough and grown up enough to take it on the chin and get on with it".
