As reported just recently, AFC Bournemouth had signed Lee Bradbury, on loan, from Southend United until Janaury 2nd, 2008.

In a surprise move today, the Football Club have announced that Bradbury has now signed a permanent deal, taking him up to the end of the current season.

In a quote from AFC Bournemouth, Steve Sly is quoted as saying: "We all saw at Doncaster the positive impact Bradders had on the side. Everyone has been lifted by the victory last week and this excellent addition to the squad can help us kick on and realise our ambitions starting against Port Vale tomorrow".

The Southend United assistant, Paul Brush is quoted on BBCi as saying: "Lee had been getting frustrated with the traffic - getting to training in Southend every day had been a problem. We agreed with Lee in May that for the benefit of his freshness at training and being around his family, a move at this stage of his career would be of great benefit to him. Although we were reluctant, we felt it was fair for Lee to make the final decision, and he was desperately keen to go to Bournemouth".
