Bradders Excited By Current Squad

Most squads evolve, but this season AFC Bournemouth have seen an unprecedented change in personnel in recent times, highlighted with the arrival of Simon Francis from Charlton Athletic.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo on the current squad, manager Lee Bradbury is quoted as saying: "I played with him at Southend when we won promotion to the Championship. He is a good player with good quality. He is a big lad but also very mobile and has got a good delivery. He is another option for us because he can play right-back, centre-back and right midfield. He hasn’t been involved much at Charlton this season and I saw it as a chance to act now before the window reopens because there were apparently a couple of other clubs sniffing around".
