Bradford City Reaction

Speaking on BBCi, Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "It was an awful, awful challenge by Windass. But when Bradford went down to 10 men, they worked really hard and made it difficult for us. A clean sheet and a point away from home's never a bad thing - we had our chances, but it just wasn't our day. We had the lion's share of possession but we just lacked a bit of guile".

The Bradford City manager, Colin Todd, speaking of the sending off, is quoted on BBCi as saying: "We lacked a bit of cohesion, but we had to play with 10 men for nearly 80 minutes. I thought it was a red card straight away There was no excuse for it - he's let himself down. More disappointingly, he'll miss three games now. But there's a code of conduct here, and he'll get disciplined".

Of the game itself, Todd also said of their own fans: "We gave it our all out there. I can understand it if they want to take it out on me, as you have to make strong decisions - and you can't please everybody in football. With some of those supporters, they probably wouldn't cheer or applaud when we're winning - but when we lose, they're the first to complain".
