Brett Hoping To Profit

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Pitman is quoted as saying: "The gaffer has a lot of experience and is already helping me. It's early days but I'd like to think it's paying off. He wants us to get more crosses and shots in and he's told me to get in the box as quickly as possible. I know he scored a lot of goals as a player and you can't fail to learn from someone like him. All the strikers here are reasonably young and we're all still learning. His training sessions have been good. They've been short and sharp with a lot of crossing and finishing, which is good for a forward. He wants to play attacking football and at a high tempo and I think the past two games have shown that ..... the goal at Notts County was a nice team goal. It was great to get off the mark and hopefully there will be a few more to come. The gaffer has said he wants us to keep working hard and I felt I did that at Notts County".
