Brian Stock On His Departure

Speaking to the Clubs Official Web Site, Brian Stock is quoted as saying: "It was a gut wrench to leave, I had to ask myself if I really wanted to leave a club like this, it was a hard, hard decision. I've been here at Bournemouth since I was a boy but Preston offered me a great opportunity to play in the Championship and are a club with realistic Premiership ambitions. Bournemouth is a lovely club and I've loved every minute of it from start to finish, and I will take some great memories with me. Sean has been like a Dad to me and taught me nearly everything I know. I would like to thank everyone at the club; the management, players and staff have all been great".

Of the fans, he went on to say: "The supporters have been great and I hope I've brought a smile to some peoples faces over the years I've been at the club".
