Brighton & Hove Albion Reaction - Cherries II

With Lee Camp pulling off some fantastic saves to keep the Seagulls at bay, Simon Francis paid tribute, being quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying: "He's had nothing to do in the last few games apart from pick the ball out of the net when we have conceded. But he was called upon today and showed why he is a top keeper at this level, if not a Premier League goalkeeper. His distribution is top drawer and his shot stopping, especially from close range, was out of this world at times. There were times when attackers went through and I thought, 'Come on Campy, dig us out of it', and he did. After that performance it is probably the best of both worlds for us. We will want to sign him but other clubs will be looking at him as well. But I'm sure the gaffer will be doing all he can to keep him because he's someone we want to have in the team. We've shown that we have grown as a team and improved defensively. At the start of the season we had a few results away from home that we weren't too happy about and we have been working on the training ground to rectify that. There's no doubt we are heading in the right direction and that's testament to the players and the coaching staff".
