Brighton & Hove Albion Reaction - Seagulls

Brighton manager, Dean Wilkins was quoted on their official web site as saying: "At half-time I gave loads of bits of detail to everybody really, we just needed to be more solid. I felt that in the last twenty minutes of the first half they re-gained possession too much for my liking, so we tried to bring the two wide lads a bit narrower and be a bit more basic. If we couldn't play our way out then we would just try and turn them round and tuck balls down the side, and that is where we got Bas in possession for the first goal and also Nicky Forster for the second goal. It was a case of 'job done' in the end. Scoring so early in the second half was a massive boost and gave us something to hold on to. But we didn't just hang on to it we actually increased the lead so I was really pleased at the end of what was an ugly game".
