Brighton & Hove Albion Reaction - Seagulls

Seagulls boss, Dean Wilkins was naturally pleased after the New Years Day win over AFC Bournemouth at Withdean, being quoted in The Argus as saying: "I was pretty critical at half-time because I felt every free-kick we had and cross we put into the box was met by a Bournemouth head. He (Revell) came up trumps at the end and that run over towards me was, I think, meant as an up yours gaffer' but I did not mind it one bit. He is a blinding lad. We have got some great lads at the club and I am really pleased that he has gone in there with that sort of determination and aggression in the last minute".

As for the hat-trick hero himself, he was quoted as saying: "I know he only wants to make me improve and, since coming back from injury, I have not been as good as I wanted to be until the last couple of games when I have been doing maybe not as much work but better work. I scored a hat-trick for Braintree against Worthing but I had not scored a professional hat-trick so it's a great feeling".
