Brighton manager, Gus Poyet, was understandably upset with the final outcome of the match, being quoted after the match as saying about the penalty: "I didn't see it because I was too far away. We watched it as soon as we got in because technology gives you a chance to watch it. The big disappointment was the linesman was in the wrong position to give it. The referee gave a free-kick and he was closer to the action. It was very tight to decide if it was inside or outside of the box. It was difficult".
