Speaking after the record 5th straight away win, Sean O'Driscoll is quoted as saying on BBCi that: "Neil Moss made some good saves, but I thought we got what we deserved. The Luton game on Saturday was always going to be a big game anyway, but it's even more vital for us now as our home form's let us down of late".

The hero between the Bournemouth sticks, Neil Moss, was praised Garreth O'Connor, being quoted after the match as saying: "I rated him very highly last season, but he's stepped his game up again this season. For me, he's been by far our best player. The only problem is that if he keeps doing that, we could lose him. There must be a lot of people out there thinking he could do a job in a higher league and I'd agree with that".

After the defeat, City boss, Brian Tinnion wsa defiant as to City's chances of making the play-offs, being quoted on BBCi as saying: "No-one will accept we're out of contention with two big games to come .... I always felt the first goal would be vital and we had chances to get it. When we had to chase the game, Bournemouth caught us on the break".
