Bristol City Reaction

Speaking on BBC Radio Solent after the match, Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "I thought it was a terrific performance but we just switched off for one long ball. We thought we needed the second goal and we got our noses in front. I have got to be honest, they didn't look like scoring, I know they had pressure and put balls into the box but I thought we defended fine. But it was on the cards when they went 2-1 and they got the second but even then we had chances at the death. It was definitely two points dropped but I must say against a side as good as Bristol City, it was a great point and a terrific performance from everybody. We looked like scoring. We just changed it with two people who played upfront that were able to give us a bit more of a threat in behind and I thought that everything we tried to do we did well apart from switching off and a couple of lapses of concentration and we were punished for it. But that's the way it has been going for us to be truthful. Overall I was delighted with the way the lads performed and getting a point at Bristol City is a terrific point".

For City, their manager, Gary Johnson was quoted after the match as saying: "It is a concern to have gone two goals behind in two successive games and we talked about that afterwards. We are not playing soft Christmas music in the dressing room before matches, although it may seem that way! We will look at the goals conceded - the second one here was a bad mistake - but we will also take something from the fact that we have again kept going and dug out a result. Adriano seemed to just miss the ball in which case it was a bad error. I want to see it again, but in any case he has kept us in a number of games this season and it was a rare mistake".
