Broady Hernia

Neil Young was unable to delay surgery any longer, and has now had his operation to correct his hernia, but Karl Broadhurst is also experiencing hernia problems. But he's hoping to delay the operation until the close season.

Speaking the Bournemouth Evening Echo (click the link to find the full story and interview), he is quoted as saying: "I'm not totally sure what my body is going to do over the coming weeks, but I am pretty confident I can hold it off until the end of the season. It is not affecting me too badly at the moment - although some fans might disagree with that! As we saw with Neil, he got to a point where he couldn't put up with it anymore and needed the operation. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep going at least until he is back to fitness and then I can re-assess the situation. If I need to get it done desperately, then I will, but if I can put up with it until the summer then obviously that will be perfect".
