Burnley V Bournemouth at Turf Moor - Match Preview

Duo set for Clarets return

Burnley could restore Dean Marney and Keith Treacy to their matchday squad when the league leaders entertain former boss Eddie Howe and his Bournemouth team.

Just over a year after Howe left the Clarets to return to the south coast he will be back at Turf Moor hoping to upset the Sky Bet Championship pacesetters.

Sean Dyche, Howe's replacement, could stick Marney, recently troubled by a thigh strain, straight into the centre of midfield alongside David Jones while Treacy may make the bench upon his return from suspension.

Eddie Howe will be without Ryan Allsop when he makes his return to Turf Moor.

The 35-year-old, who managed the Clarets between January 2011 and October 2013, returns for the first time.

But Allsop will not be making the journey after he was laid low with a bout of glandular fever. Howe is expected to make a late decision on whether Darryl Flahavan or Shwan Jalal will be on the bench as cover for current number one Lee Camp.

Matt Ritchie (thigh) is another player who will not travel but Howe hopes to have the winger available for the clash with Derby on November 23.
