Bury Reaction - Cherries II

Defender Jason Pearce was quoted as saying in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I felt we were comfortable at the back for the whole game and one lapse in concentration cost us. It happened in our last game and we've lost all six points. We've got to win some games now. We've been going into every four games hoping to get between seven and nine points, which is good form. We then got nine from nine and wanted to get at least four from our past two games. At this stage of the season and with the position we're in, we need to get some points on the board. Everyone is really down but we've got to pick ourselves up and go again next Saturday. Rochdale are probably the best footballing team I've seen in this league. We need some points quickly. The teams behind us are winning and drawing and catching us when we slip up. We've slipped up twice now so we've got to get three points in our next game".
