Business As Usual - Bond

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "In preparing for the game, we've tried not to be clever and do anything we wouldn't normally do because we really don't want to put the lads under any pressure. If we work and concentrate extremely hard and get the rub of the green that would be great. It's a difficult situation and it would be far better if we were going into these games looking for points to edge into the play-offs. Trying to avoid the drop is horrible. Their recent form is not lost on us. They are a very dangerous team and are capable of beating anybody in this division. We know it is going to be a difficult and dangerous game for us. Crewe would not be in the position they are in now if Maynard had been fit all season and their form has changed since he returned. Thankfully though, we have done exceptionally well in recent weeks and hopefully we can just keep it going for at least another week".
