Speaking after the match, Dave Jones, the City manager was quoted as saying: "We had enough chances to have won three or four times over. The match should have been taken away from Bournemouth before the second half. It was all about attitude and some of my players fell short of that. Some of our football was superb and we cut them open at will in the first half but we did not finish them off".
