After the home sides' victory over the Cherries, Blue boss, Greg Abbott was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo paying tribute to the achievements at Dean Court, being quoted as saying: "It is testament to them to still be going strong at the top end of the division at this stage of the season. What they have achieved after coming up has been phenomenal. In terms of finances, fan-base and level, they are probably similar to us. They have lost three top-drawer players during the season and that has got to have an effect on clubs like theirs and ours. It is very difficult to replace and recover. But you can’t take away anything from what they have achieved. They have just got to try to keep it going and regain some momentum between now and the end of the season. They have a young manager and a young group of players whom are giving an unbelievable amount of honesty. For that alone, I would like to see them rewarded and I wish them all the best".
