Steve Cook, speaking after the match on the Clubs Official Web Site, was quoted as saying on the win and promotion: "It’s hard to put it into words and I don’t think it has really sunk in yet, but we are over the moon. Apart from the blip that we had where we lost five in a row, we’ve been the best team in the league. We’ve worked so hard, we play the game in the right way and it’s paid off today. I think we’ve got something special and if we can stay together for the next few seasons, then I think we can push on and then who knows what could happen? We’ve got a very good young group of players, and unbelievable manager and assistant manager, the board have been great, so we’ve got a really good future. I don’t think I could have scored in a better game and on a better day, I’m buzzing. I was disappointed with their goal because I would rather have had the clean sheet, but we won 3-1 and we are up and that’s all that matters. I might not score a goal as important as that ever again, but I would like to think I could score next weekend to win us the league. I’m just delighted for everyone".
