Josh Carmichael, 19, is poised to step out on to hallowed turf at Wembley Stadium as a player representing Gosport Borough, the club he's currently on loan with, following an extension of that loan period to face Cambridge United in teh FA Trophy FInal on March 23rd.

The Borough boss, Alex Pike, is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying about Carmichael and the big match: "Josh has already had his suit fitted so he’s in the squad. We’ve been sponsored by TM Lewin and we went there last Thursday and he’s been fitted out. It’s not a bad stepping stone for the start of his career to play at Wembley and he’s got a great opportunity of starting. I’ve had loan players throughout the year and he is by far the best. For me he’s got everything. He’s over six foot, has got good feet and is willing to learn, which is what I like. I’ve already spoken to Stephen Purches about him and if he doesn’t make pro I’ll be very surprised. A lot of his team-mates who he’s training with full-time are supportive and they are going to come up and watch".
