Wigan Athletic booked their place in the end of season play-off lottery as they extended the woes of Birmingham City as their run without a run stretches back to October 1st last year. A McManaman goal in the 3rd minute was enough to confirm the points for the Latics, while the Blues are staring at relegation to League One. Birmingham City 22nd, Wigan Athletic 5th.

After a poor season, Charlton Athletic finally managed to confirm their Championship status for another season as they managed to claim the win they needed against Watford at Valley Parade. Harriott put the Addicks ahead in the 22nd minute, with Deeney restoring parity on the hour mark. Jackson (69th min) and Harriett (77th min) bagged the goals to secure the win and another season in the second tier. Charlton Athletic 18th, Watford 13th.
